Built on love
for people & movement
Jo's Pilates was born from a simple belief: that everyone deserves access to a beautiful space where they can move with purpose, guided by instructors who truly care.
“Pilates is complete coordination of body, mind, and spirit.”
— Joseph Pilates
Jo's Pilates was founded in Lake Wylie, South Carolina, with a simple belief: movement should strengthen the body while restoring the mind.
Rooted in classical Pilates and elevated through contemporary techniques, we offer reformer classes, small group sessions, and private training designed for every level. Each class is intentionally programmed to build deep core strength, improve mobility, and create balanced, full-body coordination — without high-impact stress.
Created as a calming, refined space, Jo's Pilates is where strength, intention, and community come together.

About the founder
There was a season in my life when I was deeply focused on my career and my family — and in the process, I stopped prioritizing myself. I was constantly moving, constantly managing, but rarely slowing down enough to reconnect with my own well-being. After stepping away from fitness for longer than I ever had before, starting again felt overwhelming.
Pilates became my way back.
What began as a gentle return to movement became something much deeper. I began to understand what Joseph Pilates meant when he said, "Pilates is complete coordination of body, mind, and spirit." The physical strength returned — but so did clarity, steadiness, and focus. That hour became the most grounded part of my day.
That experience inspired Jo's Pilates. I wanted to create a space where others could experience that same mind-body connection — a space that feels calm, intentional, and restorative. A place where strength is built with precision, and balance is restored from the inside out.
This practice gave me more than physical results, and it is my greatest hope to share that gift with you.
Our Mission
To create a space where any level can practice mindful movement, empowering every client to move with confidence and intention.
