Terms of Service

Please review the following terms that govern your use of our studio and services.

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using services at Jo's Pilates, you agree to these Terms of Service.

2. Services Provided

We offer Pilates classes, private sessions, duet sessions, and apparatus-based training.

3. Eligibility

You confirm that:

  • You are 18 or older or have guardian consent
  • You are physically able to participate

4. Booking & Payment

  • All sessions must be booked in advance through our scheduling platform, Mariana Tek
  • Payment is required at the time of booking unless otherwise stated
  • All sales are final unless otherwise specified
  • Prices may change at any time

By booking through Mariana Tek, you also agree to their terms and policies.

5. Cancellation, Late Arrival & No-Show Policy

We understand that schedules can change. To provide the best experience for all clients and honor our instructors' time, we maintain an 8-hour cancellation policy.

  • Cancellations made within 8 hours of a scheduled class will incur a $15 late cancellation fee
  • Missed classes without prior cancellation will be considered a no-show and charged a $25 fee
  • Late arrivals may not be admitted for safety reasons
  • Sessions will end at the scheduled time regardless of arrival

This policy allows us to offer availability to waitlisted clients and ensures a consistent experience for our community.

6. Health & Medical Acknowledgment

You agree to:

  • Inform instructors of any injuries or conditions
  • Take responsibility for your health
  • Understand this is not medical advice

7. Assumption of Risk

You acknowledge and accept all risks associated with Pilates and use of equipment.

8. Limitation of Liability

Jo's Pilates is not liable for injuries or damages except where required by law.

9. Studio Policies & Code of Conduct

Clients must:

  • Arrive on time
  • Follow instructions
  • Respect others and equipment

We may refuse service if necessary.

10. Equipment Use

Clients agree to use equipment properly and report any issues.

11. Memberships & Packages

  • Non-transferable and non-refundable
  • Expiration dates apply
  • Unused sessions are forfeited

12. Personal Belongings

We are not responsible for lost or stolen items.

13. Third-Party Services

We use third-party platforms, including Mariana Tek, to manage scheduling, bookings, and client accounts. Your use of these services is also subject to their respective terms and privacy policies.

14. Privacy

Your use of services is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

15. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time.

16. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of South Carolina.
